LICENSING

use my music in your song

if you have no intention of monetizing your work (earning money), then you may go ahead and sample my music!

but if you want to monetize your song and release it to stores (i.e. Spotify, Apple, etc.), then you MUST obtain a license/clear the sample

fill out this form to begin the sample clearance process

Phora’s “Fake Smiles 2” sampled “paranoia ??? (bonjr Remix)” and now has over 8 million Spotify streams.

“Please Come Back” by Teqkoi & Ondi Vil sampled “i want you to help me live” and has gained 33 million Spotify streams.

use my music for your YouTube video

UPDATE: YouTube has recently introduced “Creator Music” which allows creators to license music (including mine) for their videos without losing monetization. click here to learn more about the Creator Music library as well as the types of licenses available

if you don’t care about monetization on YouTube, then you may use my music without any issues (just credit everyone properly). you will NOT get a copyright strike, block or mute on your video ;)

however… you MUST obtain a license if you do wish to monetize your video; the copyright claim on your video will not be removed unless you do so

if a specific song is NOT available on Creator Music, then fill out this form and i will either add it to the Creator Music library or handle its licensing myself

learn the difference: copyright claim vs. copyright strike

dreamscape (140k subscribers) obtained a license to upload my song; the claim has been removed.

Violet Evergarden edit uses my music with no license; claim remains active.

use my music in Film/TV/Other
